Attendance Policy
Berns Therapy Solutions is committed to providing all of our patients exceptional care. We are implementing an updated attendance policy to ensure that patients regularly attend their scheduled appointments. This allows us to deliver a successful speech-language therapy program for all of our patients.
How much notice you give determines what happens
The four tiers below are listed from most to least notice.
Planned Absence
14 days notice
You will not be invoiced. Thanks for planning ahead!
Unplanned Absence
Less than 14 days notice
You will be invoiced for your session and will have 30-days to schedule a make-up session.
Late Cancel
Less than 24 hours notice
You will be invoiced for your session and will have 30-days to schedule a make-up session.
+ $25 late cancel fee
No Show
No notice provided
You will be invoiced for your session. No make-up session will be provided.
+ $25 no-show fee
If your child is ill
In the event of an illness, please contact your child's therapist as soon as possible to cancel your appointment. We will work with you to arrange a make-up session. You will not be charged a late fee.
